Candy AI Pricing in 2026: Plans, Tokens and What the Free Tier Includes

The short answer

Candy AI has one main plan, Premium, sold on three billing terms. On 14 October 2026 its subscription page showed:

• 1 month: $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 a month.
• 3 months: $26.97 a quarter, which is $8.99 a month.
• 12 months: $47.88 a year, which is $3.99 a month.

Every term includes unlimited text messages and 100 tokens a month. Tokens pay for images, video, voice and other extras, but Candy does not publish what each of those costs in tokens on its public pages, and its token pack prices appear only after signing in. The free tier is 5 messages in total, plus one custom character and one image.

What the page lists for Premium: creating your own AI girlfriends, generating adult images and videos, the "Full Live Action Experience", unlimited text messages and 100 tokens per month.

What a year costs on each term

The yearly plan saves $116.00 against paying monthly for a year, but it is a single charge on day one, and Candy's terms say it renews at the same price and term.

Premium Plus

Candy's help centre describes a second tier, Premium Plus, with 330 tokens a month, live audio, a 10% bonus on token top-ups for quarterly and yearly members, 20 memory slots, personas and early access to features. We did not find its price on any public page on 14 October 2026, so we have not printed one.

How tokens work

Tokens are Candy's currency for anything beyond text chat. According to its terms and help centre:

• Allowance: Premium includes "generally 100 per month". On a yearly plan they arrive 100 at a time each month, not all at once.
• What they pay for: images, creating a custom AI, voice messages, voice calls (in beta), private content packs and turning an image into a video.
• Published costs: the only per-action price we found on a public page is Candy Roulette, a camera-on video chat with AI characters, which "costs 5 tokens per minute".
• Not published: the token cost of an image, a video, a voice message or a call minute, and the price of token packs. Those sit behind the sign-in.
• A value Candy states: its referral page describes 200 tokens as "a $20 value". By Candy's own figure, the monthly 100 tokens are worth $10, but that is a referral valuation, not a pack price.

Because the per-action prices are missing, nobody outside can work out how many images or videos the monthly 100 tokens buy. That is the main thing to check once you are signed in, before paying for a longer term.

What the free tier includes

Candy's terms say: "As a free user, you may generally send a maximum of 5 messages to AI Characters." Its help centre adds one custom character and one image. That is a total, not a daily allowance. We did not find a statement on whether a card is needed to start.

Refunds and cancelling: what the terms say

Candy's terms (section 10) set three rules worth knowing before you pay:

1. Refund window: a refund must be requested within 24 hours of the charge.
2. Token limit: a refund is denied if more than 20 tokens have been used.
3. Unused tokens: they do not carry over after cancellation.

All three terms renew automatically at the same price and term, so cancel before the renewal date if you do not want the next charge. Candy's help centre describes the in-app steps to cancel.

Features, platforms and age checks

• Features in its help centre: in-chat images (with a toggle), image-to-video and preset videos, "Live Action" on mobile web (paid in tokens), voice messages, voice calls in beta, Candy Roulette, Candy Cam, interactive stories, creator "digital twins" and character creation.
• Platforms: "Candy.ai does not offer a native mobile app for iOS or Android." It runs in the browser and can be installed as a web app.
• Age checks: a self-declared age gate, with third-party age estimation or ID verification "as applicable based on your location".
• Company: EverAI Limited, registered in Malta. Its subscription page says it is "trusted by 50 million people worldwide", a figure it publishes itself.
• Privacy: its privacy policy says third-party model providers may receive the content of your messages, and that de-identified chats may be used to train its AI models.

Is Candy AI worth it?

It depends on one number Candy does not publish. At $47.88 a year the yearly plan is cheap, and text chat is unlimited on every term. But if you want images and video, you are buying a currency without a public price list: you get 100 tokens a month and only learn what an image or a clip costs after you sign in, while the free tier stops at five messages. If you try it, use the five free messages first, check the token price of an image once signed in, and start on the monthly plan.
